    WOODZEE switched from utilizing TAC plastic lenses to a higher quality nylon lens, providing increased durability, as well as improved optical clarity.

    All of our WOODZEE nylon lenses block 100% of harmful UVA, UVB and HEV light, providing superior protection from solar damage.

    - CELLULOSE ACETATE FRAMES -

    Staying true to our standards at WOODZEE, we utilize organic cellulose acetate which allows for production from sustainable materials rather than those derived from petroleum. Cellulose acetate is originated from renewable resources such as wood pulp and cotton fibers, making it an optimum resource for creating durable, sustainable eyewear. Our product features hues that are sprayed into the acetate, retaining brightness and preventing color fade.

    - SINGLE SPRING HINGES WITH STAINLESS STEEL HARDWARE -

    We've kept a familiar hinge to our original Cara design. Offering a single barrel hinge reduces weight to keep the frames comfortable on your face with day to day wear. Just as good as ever, this hinge will maintain tension for a long, consistent life.

    Celebrating our wooden roots, WOODZEE has continued to utilize variations of hardwoods throughout the design of our collections. We have found a balance to incorporate wood as a decoration rather than a structural foundation. Each WOODZEE acetate frame features stainless steel wires injected into the temples for adjustability, as well as stainless steel posts for optimal temple mounting.
